A place for warmth, conversation, and new paths
Since 2009, we have been running a soup kitchen in Cheb once a month for children, young people, and adults involved in prostitution. The people who take advantage of this service grow up in an environment characterized by financial and emotional poverty, desolate living conditions, social discrimination, neglect, and violence. During the soup kitchen, material assistance is provided in the form of food, drinks, and necessary clothing, toys, and hygiene items. In addition, low-threshold games and conversations are offered.
The goal of the soup kitchen
The aim of the soup kitchen is to establish contacts and build trust. This forms the basis for motivating those affected to engage in more intensive and long-term support programs, such as relationship building, the annual summer camp, and the Christmas party for children and young people.
Play, conversation, and counseling services
We provide information on sexual abuse of children and adolescents, forced prostitution, and offer help and ways to escape, tailored to each individual situation.
