EMERGENCY SHELTER PROJECT 10.09.2025

Friendly telephone man symbol with the text - I can go here - I am safe here

We visited the Protestant Montessori Primary School in Plauen to present our NOTHALT project.

We talked to pupils in grades 1 to 4 in a playful way about possible dangerous situations in everyday life and their right to help and protection from violence.

The children now know that they can turn to partner businesses displaying the NOTHALT logo at any time in the event of minor or major emergencies on their way to school.

The elementary school students were often already aware of the dangerous situations on their way to school. However, most of them did not know how to get help if they were harassed, followed, or felt uncomfortable.

In Plauen alone, we have more than 45 emergency stop partners. Each partner location has a recognizable “NOTHALT” sticker on a door or window and has a small set of snacks and a stuffed animal to comfort a child in need.

Many thanks to all our partners in Plauen!
